Hi everyone! My name is Tara Juozitis and I am the founder and creator of

"Less Thorns, More Roses."

I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to create a platform that can bring people together to venture into works of art and poetry about common parenthood and life struggles. Over the last few years my husband and I have been venturing through our parenting life and have come across various lessons learned.

​

I always knew I wanted to be a mom and knew I would love my child no matter what. What I didn't know is that a part of my heart would be unlocked as soon as I became one, and that opened up an entirely new level of love. In between all of the laughs and love, there have been a fair share of moments filled with tears.

 

Throughout life, I have struggled with internal and external stressors that have led to moments of anxiety, depression, plummeted self-confidence, and even times of feeling like I failed as a mom, spouse, friend, or individual. Over the years, I have heard many stories from family, friends, and coworkers struggling with similar issues which led me to creating this platform.

Art and creativity has always been an outlet for me for whenever I hit that "dark space" which led me to wanting to share it with you.

 

In today's world, I wanted to find a way to help bring more positivity to the surface and spread love however I can.
