Less Thorns, More Roses™

Hi everyone! My name is Tara Juozitis and I am the founder and creator of

"Less Thorns, More Roses."

I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to create a platform that can bring people together to read about common parenthood and/or life struggles. Over the last few years my husband and I have been venturing through our parenting adventure and have come across various lessons learned.

​

I always knew I wanted to be a mom and knew I would love my child no matter what. What I didn't know is that a part of my heart would be unlocked as soon as I became one, and that opened up an entirely new level of love. In between all of the laughs and love, there have been a fair share of moments filled with tears.

 

Throughout pregnancy/mom life, I have struggled with internal and external stressors that have led to moments of anxiety, depression, plummeted self-confidence, and even times of feeling like I failed as a mom, spouse, friend, or individual. I didn't always feel as if I had an outlet available to bring me out of that "dark space". Over the years, I have heard many stories from family, friends, and coworkers struggling with similar issues which led me to creating this platform.  

 

In today's world, I wanted to find a way to help bring more positivity to the surface and spread love however I can.
